Mento Buru readies for Fat Tuesday celebration at BarrelHouse Brewing

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Mento Buru’s Fat Tuesday party is coming back for it’s 18th year in Bakersfield.

The Fat Tuesday party is scheduled for Feb. 17 at BarrelHouse Brewing. One of Bakersfield’s music staples is bringing back the Mardi Gras celebration, a tradition that began in 2006.

Kern County lawyers, CSUB program to provide free help at expungement clinic

The free event runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and it’s first come, first served.

All ages are welcome to attend. Fabulous Faces by Nallely will be at the party for fun, and Sabor Taino Smokehouse BBQ will be serving up food.
