Police were searching for an assailant who fatally gunned down a person Tuesday night in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.
The person, an unidentified male, was found on the street with multiple gunshot wounds around 10:15 p.m. in the 700 block of East 37th Street, Chicago police said.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Area 1 detectives were investigating.
