San Diego has always had a serious craft beer culture, and The Art of Beer is celebrating exactly that – not just what’s in the glass, but the creativity and craftsmanship behind every pour. It’s making its debut at Ballast Point Little Italy, and it’s shaping up to be one of the more thoughtful beer events we’ve seen in a while.
Rather than the sprawling festival format we’re used to, this one is intentionally curated – intimate tasting rooms, label-art installations, and real conversations with the brewers themselves.
Ten Hand-Selected Breweries and a Lineup Worth Showing Up For
Ten local breweries have been chosen for their contribution to San Diego’s craft beer community, including Coronado Brewing Company, Fall Brewing Company, Harland Brewing, Pizza Port, Societe Brewing Company, Stone Brewing, and more.
Each will pour multiple beers, with rare and limited releases in the mix, and attendees vote for their favorites throughout the afternoon.

VIP Access and Early Bird Pricing
For those wanting to go deeper, the VIP hour includes exclusive pours, curated food pairings, and a “Bright Tank” tasting experience rarely available to the public. VIP tickets also come with a $100 post-event self-guided tasting tour across all ten participating breweries.
Tickets are currently $30 off – General Admission is $29 (regularly $59) and VIP is $99 (regularly $129). Grab them while the early bird pricing lasts.
