10th Annual Valley Fever Walk hopes to raise awareness and support in Kern County

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern Medical Foundation is bringing the community together to raise awareness for Valley Fever.

The 10th Annual Valley Fever Walk is taking place on Saturday, March 7, at Riverwalk Park Starting at 9 a.m.

This year’s walk marks a decade of education, advocacy and research funding for the Kern Medical Foundation.

Kern Medical Marketing Director Danielle Colbert joined ARC Bakersfield to share more details.

Colbert says the event gives the community the opportunity to connect with Valley Fever experts and learn more about the disease.
