FRESNO, Calif (FOX26) — A garbage truck overturned on Highway 99 in Fresno on Wednesday.

It happened around 10 a.m. when the driver was attempting to exit the highway onto the Ashlan Avenue off-ramp.

CHP says the driver lost control and collided with the embankment on his right side, causing the truck to flip over on its side.

The driver and a passenger received minor injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
