Southern California isn’t exactly known as Cloak Country, the sort of chilly and misty destination where dramatic capes and cloaks are found in every closet.

LA Opera is helping drama-loving Angelenos connect with their inner cloak wearer this spooky season, and the lauded company is doing so at the cloak-iest landmark around: The United Theater on Broadway.
