BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police are on scene of a shooting that wounded at least one person near Golden Valley High School on Wednesday.
The shooting was reported at about 11:21 a.m. in the 800 block of Hosking Avenue, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
No students or faculty were involved, according to police. A secure hold has been issued for nearby schools Leon H. Ollivier Middle School and Horizon Elementary School, according to Crystal Figueroa with the Greenfield Union School District.
No information has been released yet on a victim.
