BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A National Guard recruiter from Bakersfield was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly having sex with a minor, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
BPD’s Special Victim’s Unit detectives arrested Jacob Robles, 24, on suspicion of unlawful sexual
intercourse with a minor. The victim was a 17-year-old girl, according to police.
Robles is employed as a recruiter with the California Army National Guard. Robles visited various high schools, vocational schools and colleges in Bakersfield as a recruiter, police said. Officials did not name any campuses he has visited.
The investigation is ongoing and includes identifying any additional victims, according to officials.
