FRESNO, California — A 46-year-old Fresno man was arrested for the 36th time following a police pursuit on Tuesday, according to a press release from the Adult Compliance Team (ACT).

Michael Delsid, of Fresno, was taken into custody and booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of evading police, reckless driving, and probation violations. He also had an outstanding arrest warrant for charges including robbery, domestic violence, violating a protection order, and dissuading a victim from testifying. Delsid is currently ineligible for bail.

The incident unfolded Tuesday afternoon when ACT detectives attempted to stop a pickup truck driven by Delsid. He refused to pull over, leading to a pursuit that ended at the intersection of Clinton and Marks in Fresno. A deputy executed a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT), causing Delsid’s vehicle to spin out and come to a stop. Officers from various local agencies assigned to ACT assisted in safely apprehending Delsid, with no injuries or property damage reported.

Delsid’s criminal history dates back to 1994 and includes drug, property, and violent crimes. He most recently served six months in the Fresno County Jail in 2025 for probation violations and a violation of a protective order.
