BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield Christian High School is planning some exciting expansions for their campus.
The school hopes to build a new aquatics center as well as a wrestling and athletic flex facility.
School leaders say the project is expected to cost nearly nine million dollars and a major fundraising campaign has been launched to help make the facility a reality.
Officials hope the new facilities will help expand athletic opportunities, enhance student wellness and create new space for competitions.
The school also hopes to host community events at the aquatics center.
Bakersfield Christian High School President Matt Guinn joined ARC Bakersfield to share more details.
