BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield College is celebrating Black History Month with events throughout February.

February 19, they are hosting their Black History Month Conference to highlight African American culture in the community.

The event will feature a guest panel, resource fair, and a performance.

The conference is happening at the Renegade Event Center from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
