One of the biggest nights of the 2026 Olympics takes place Thursday in Milan, with Oakland native figure skater Alysa Liu skating the most significant competition of her young career.
All three U.S. women’s figure skaters — dubbed the “Blade Angels” — are competing for individual medals, with Liu sitting in third after the short program.
The U.S. and Canada also will face off for the women’s hockey gold medal Thursday.
