A mother bear and three cubs were spotted in Encino on Wednesday.
Officer Miller of the Los Angeles Police Department said the bears were reported to police just after noon, and they were spotted in the 16700 block of Ashley Oaks.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has been notified, Miller added.
Aerial footage from Sky5 showed the bears perched in a tree.
A group of a mother bear and three cubs was spotted at Mandeville Canyon Park this past weekend, but it’s unclear if they’re the same bruins.
