The City of Long Beach has released interest forms as part of the continuing preparations for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Property owners and local businesses in the city are encouraged to submit an online interest form to be placed on a database shared with interested parties of the games stakeholders, such as the National Olympic Committee (NOC), National Paralympic Committee (NPC), marketing partners and more.

“The 2028 Games are not only a historic moment for our region, but are also a major economic opportunity for our city,” Mayor Rex Richardson said in a public statement. “By connecting property owners and local businesses with interested Games stakeholders, we are ensuring that Long Beach’s unique spaces and entrepreneurial spirit are part of the 2028 Games experience, and are creating partnerships that will bring investment, visibility and benefits to our local community and economy.”

The committees and marketing partners will help identify and secure a place that best fits a business or property owner’s operational, logistical and cultural needs. Long Beach will soon offer engagement opportunities for local businesses and property owners, as well as other ways to get involved in the 2028 Games.

The City is considered as a premier location for Games Stakeholders for the 2028 Games. The addition of the recently announced Hellenic Olympic House, and other NOC/NPC activities offers even more ways for businesses and stakeholders to benefit from Long Beach’s hosting duties.
