SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — San Francisco Police Department said two officers were involved in a crash during a police pursuit Friday morning.

Police say it all started before 7:30 a.m., when officers spotted a stolen vehicle near Geary Boulevard and St. Joseph’s Avenue.

During the chase, police say an SFPD car crashed into another car in the area of Pine and Divisadero Streets.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK. The two officers inside the patrol car were medically assessed at the scene but did not need to go to the hospital.

Police later found the suspect’s car abandoned in Oakland.

No arrests have been made at this time.
