BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a man between the ages of 70 and 80 allegedly involved in a vehicle burglary on Q Street.
The incident was reported in the 2700 block of Q Street on Jan. 7 when the man forced entry into a parked vehicle. Police said the man was confronted by the vehicle’s owner, who was in the driver’s seat.
The man then fled on foot.

The man is described as being between 70 and 80 years old. He was wearing a black shirt and dark blue jeans at the time of the incident, according to police.
