A woman was robbed and then hit by a vehicle as she ran from the suspect on Friday in Fresno, police said.

Officers responded to the scene at 1 p.m. at Blackstone and Ashlan Avenues, where the woman was robbed.

As the victim ran from the alleged suspect, a vehicle struck her. She had minor injuries and scratches throughout her body. She also had lacerations on her right elbow.

The investigation is ongoing.
