CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is hosting the K-9 Trials at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds to celebrate 50 years of service.

The K-9 Trials is a free event for all ages at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Participants from 23 agencies across the state will work with their dogs through a series of skills training, competing to win trophies.

Due to muddy conditions, the event will take place in an open field near the arena.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs as the bleachers will not be available.
