Group suspected of crossing border illegally at San Ysidro – NBC 7 San Diego

Video shows a group of people suspected of crossing the border illegally at the San Ysidro Port of Entry on Thursday night.

The group ran through the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 to get into the U.S. around 8 p.m., according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Officers took 13 people into custody and transported them to the port of entry for processing, the agency said, adding that several others ran back into Mexico.
