Macklin Celebrini’s impressive Olympic run continued Friday when he assisted on the game-winning goal in Canada’s last-second semifinal victory over Finland.

The San Jose Sharks phenom tallied a hockey assist on Nathan MacKinnon’s goal with 35.2 seconds remaining in the game, propelling Canada to its 3-2 win to clinch a spot in Sunday’s gold medal game.

Celebrini has racked up 10 points – five goals and five assists – at the Milan Cortina Olympics, second only to Canadian teammate Connor McDavid, who has 13 points.

Sunday’s gold medal game will air live at 5:10 a.m. on NBC Bay Area.
