Shooting happened at Thornberry Apartments in West Bloomfield

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. – A suspect is in custody after a shooting at an Oakland County apartment complex, police said.
Police responded to the Thornberry Apartments near Maple and Farmington roads in West Bloomfield early on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, after receiving a report of a shooting.
A suspect was taken into custody. Multiple people were shot and injured, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police have not released any other details at this time. Local 4 crews are heading to the scene, and this story will be updated as soon as new information becomes available.
