PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — One person was killed and two others were injured after a vehicle slammed into a pole in Pacoima, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash occurred on the corner of San Fernando Road and Paxton Street around 8:20 p.m. on Friday.
A 27-year-old man was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local trauma center in critical condition. A 39-year-old woman also sustained minor injuries, LAFD said.
A 30-year-old man was extricated and pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not immediately provide additional information on what caused the crash.
