02.21.2026 | 12:20 AM | LONG BEACH – A woman was critically injured in a house fire, early Saturday morning.
The fire was reported at a home in the 4600 block of East Goldfield Avenue around 12:20 AM.
When crews arrived they located a home with heavy fire showing and initiated an aggressive fire attack.
During a search of the home firefighters located an elderly female victim. She was rescued from the home and rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze. No other injuries were reported.
