TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A head-on collision Saturday left two people with minor injuries.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log, a 2005 Acura TSX was traveling southbound in the 1200 block of Southeast California Avenue around 2 a.m.
At the same time, a 2015 Toyota Corolla was travelling northbound on the same road when it crossed the center line and struck the Acura head-on.
According to KHP, the driver of the Acura, a 32-year-old male of Merriam, Kan., complained of pain. Additional details on his injuries were not available.
The Toyota held two occupants.
The driver, a 25-year-old male of Topeka, was taken to the hospital with a suspected minor injury. The other occupant in the vehicle, a 37-year-old female of Topeka, was also taken to the hospital with a suspected minor injury.
All individuals involved were wearing their safety restraints.
