CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — Watch as the Clovis West and Clovis High School girls’ basketball teams clinch their spot in the Division 1 final next Saturday at Selland Arena.
The Golden Eagles (28-3) will play for their 14th consecutive Section championship. They have defeated the Cougars in the D1 final twice in the past three years.
But in last year’s championship game, Clovis pushed Clovis West to overtime, led by star guard Sadie Sin.
The Long Beach State-bound senior scored 28 points – 16 of them in the 4th quarter – in Friday’s 55-43 semifinal win over Central East.
