The San José State women’s gymnastics team hosts Air Force and UC Davis on Sunday, February 22, in a tri-meet beginning at 2 p.m., inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
Sunday’s meet is designated as Super Heroes and Princess Meet.
San José State is 32nd nationally in the latest NQS rankings with a 195.406.
The Spartans scored a season-best 196.350 last Sunday in a win over Utah State at home The score is the 11th-highest in school history.
The vault team currently ranks 22nd in the country with a 49.006 NQS, while the beam team is 26th with a 48.888 NQS.
Sunday’s meet features the top gymnast in the Mountain West – Maggie Slife from Air Force. She holds the top all-around score and MW record of 39.650, which she won last weekend against Stanford, Cal, and Georgia. She has tallied 23 weekly awards from the conference this season.
UC Davis is led by all-arounder Amelia Moneymaker, who is second in the MPSF with a 38.935 all-around NQS.
