Sacramento Sheriff makes grand entrance at Cordova High School Homecoming in helicopter

Sacramento County Sheriff Jim Cooper made a special appearance at his alma mater’s football game on Friday, flying in on a helicopter to deliver the game ball. Sacramento County Sheriff Jim Cooper made a special appearance at his alma mater’s football game on Friday, flying in on a helicopter to deliver the game ball.
Cooper graduated from Cordova High School in 1982, and this Friday was the school’s Homecoming game.
The sheriff’s helicopter landed on the 50-yard line before Cooper stepped out to hand off the football.
KCRA 3 was on hand, as Cordova High School was voted as this week’s High School Playbook Game of the Week.
