Early Sunday, a two-vehicle crash on P Street in Sacramento injured 6–7 people, one ejected. Police are investigating it as a hit-and-run.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police are investigating a hit-and-run following a two-vehicle collision early Sunday that left one person ejected and 6–7 people injured.

Officers responded shortly after 1:30 a.m. to the area near 20th Street and P Street, where a sedan collided with a van. One passenger in the van was ejected during the crash. Sacramento PD noted that there were seven people in the van, while Sacramento Fire reported six were involved in the crash.

According to Sacramento Fire, two of the six victims were listed in critical condition, and the remainder were stable. No fatalities were reported.

The driver of the sedan reportedly fled the scene on foot before officers arrived. Police have launched a hit-and-run investigation, and a report has been filed. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Sacramento PD.

Officials say the investigation remains ongoing.
