NUMA HAROLD JULIEN
OBITUARY
Numa Harold Julien was born July 21, 1949 and departed this life January 26, 2026. He was the seventh child of Lee and Adeline Gonsoulin Julien. Harold spent his formative years in New Iberia Louisiana, where he graduated from high school. While attending the local Catholic high school, he distinguished himself as both a talented basketball player and a track star.
Harold ‘s career was varied and far reaching, spanning both the private and public sectors across the country.He eventually settled in Oakland, California where he found his professional calling as an assessor with the Alameda County government serving faithfully for more than thirty years.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Adeline Gonsoulin Julien and Lee Julien; brothers Joseph Warren and James Weldon Julien; and a sister, Marie Julien Tekle.
Harold leaves to cherish his memory: brothers, Percy and Perry Julien (Solita); his sister, Leotha Julien Jones and host of loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
