On Feb. 16, about a hundred people showed up to support the cheer team at Fresno City College as they got ready for the USA collegiate national championships in Anaheim, California, Feb. 21-22, at the Anaheim Convention Center.
“We feel good, we feel really good,” Rachel White, Fresno City College cheer coach, said. “We have a great routine this year, great team, brilliant athletic members on this team.”
According to White, FCC cheer is filled with good energy heading into the USA Collegiate Championships.
“I’m excited for them to show what they got this season,” White said.
White said stunting and tumbling are among the team’s strongest skills.
