A 1-alarm blaze hit a residential structure in San Francisco’s Lower Nob Hill neighborhood early Monday morning, according to fire officials.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, crews responded to a blaze that struck a residential building in the 1000 block of Leavenworth Street. The fire was contained to a single apartment, officials said.
As of 3:50 a.m., at least one person suffered injuries and was sent to a local hospital.
The department urged the public to avoid the area of Leavenworth Street between Pine and California streets due to emergency vehicles working there.
