Police in San Jose are on the scene of a barricaded woman near the intersection of Race Street and Park Avenue, authorities said.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. Monday, officers responded to Tillman Avenue because the woman was threatening neighbors and damaging several parked cars, police said.
When officials arrived, the woman returned to her house and barricaded herself inside, police said.
Officers are working to deescalate the situation so they can take her into custody safely.
