A huge event in San Francisco’s Marina over the weekend featuring F1 cars reportedly left some homes damaged.

Neighbors said the crowd at the Red Bull event got out of hand with the overflow of spectators climbing on trees for a better view. Some residents reported finding two broken windows, a smashed-in garage and other damage where the crowd overflowed.

“I think the chaos happened mostly on the side of the street with the houses where there wasn’t a lot of respect for people’s property,” neighbor Peter Walsh said, adding people were also seen climbing a house and getting up on their balconies.

Authorities on Monday would not confirm whether the damage was a direct result of the overflow crowd.
