BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department said their Traffic Unit, along with the California Highway Patrol, conducted an illegal street racing operation that ended with 47 vehicles stopped and three arrests.
Bakersfield police said the operation happened on Saturday, February 21, between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. throughout the city.
Police said that the enforcement ended with:
47 vehicles stopped for vehicle code violations related to street racing.38 citations issued.6 vehicles impounded.2 drivers arrested for DUI.1 driver arrested for auto theft-related charges.Comment with Bubbles
