A motorcyclist died Monday after colliding with a garbage truck in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash southwest of Selma happened before 1 p.m. at Temperance and Clemenceau avenues.
The CHP said the motorcyclist was attempting to pass the garbage truck as it turned left and collided with it.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
