LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) — An investigation is underway after two boaters say they found a man’s body floating near the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
Video from late Monday night shows police officers investigating near the marina.
Details remain limited, but the boaters described the moments they spotted the body.
“We were passing the buoys, and we thought it was trash… We noticed… what seemed to be a back, so we turned around to confirm,” one of them said.
“It was actually pretty surreal. To think that you could find a dead body like that… like right outside of the marina in Long Beach – that’s insane.”
Eyewitness News reached out to police for details on the investigation.
