Former LAFD Chief Kristin Crowley files lawsuit against LA

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Former Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley has filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles, heavily criticizing Mayor Karen Bass and her handling of the Palisades Fire.

Crowley was removed as chief six weeks after the fire began. The mayor had initially praised Crowley’s leadership before later criticizing her.

Eyewitness News has reached out to the city for comment on the lawsuit, but officials have not yet responded.
