Woman follows Sacramento student to class and shouts profanities, Miwok Middle School letter reads

A woman disrupted a classroom after she followed a Sacramento-area student onto campus, a letter sent to Miwok Middle School families on Tuesday reads.The letter said the woman, who has no connection to the school, followed a student into class, shouting profanities and throwing water from a plastic water bottle. The incident happened at the start of the school day, and a campus supervisor managed to remove the woman from school grounds.Classes resumed as normal afterward. The Sacramento Police Department and Sacramento City Unified’s Office of Safe Schools are now investigating, the letter read. Additional staff will be near the entry gates to prevent anything like this from happening again.Miwok Middle School is encouraging parents to let school staff know if their children are experiencing stress and trauma so they can be connected to support services.”As a friendly reminder, please take time to remind your child to always remain alert to their surroundings and report any suspicious behavior,” the letter read.
