SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Over 4,000 San Diego Gas & Electric customers were reported to be without power on Wednesday morning due to outages.
According to the utility company, the earliest outage was detected shortly after 9 a.m. in the following communities: Paradise Hills, Skyline and Bay Terraces.
SDG&E officials listed the estimated restoration time as 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, though power was fully restored in the impacted areas by 11 a.m.
The cause of the outage, according to the utility company, is still under investigation. No further details were immediately provided.
