OAKLAND, CA — What’s the prettiest sunset you’ve ever seen?

Dan Wertheimer was taking a stroll along the Hayward Shoreline one Sunday afternoon when he snapped this picture of a vibrant East Bay sunset.

“Great spot to take a stroll to watch the migrating sea birds,” Wertheimer told Patch. “They are quite abundant this time of year.”

Thanks for sharing with our readers, Wertheimer! My favorite sunset was while watching a silent piano concert in Southern California by the beach. Each piano key created new sentiments as the waves crashed. The sun then slowly crawled into bed, went under the horizon and paved the way for the moon.

If you have an awesome photo of nature, breathtaking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny, or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we’d love to feature it on Patch.

We’re looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty and fun that is Northern California, and that show off your unique talents. Cell phone images are fine.
