OCVibe, the $4 billion mixed-use development underway in Anaheim, is partnering with audiovisual firm Daktronics to install a $25 million fully integrated digital display system that will power large-scale LED screens across the 100-acre campus.

This includes a network of 20,000 square feet of high-impact LED video displays in various public spaces at OCVibe such as parking structures, parks, plazas and the upcoming food hall, Katella Commons. Daktronics has been a partner at the Honda Center for more than two decades.

A key display will be at the Urban Park which will have a media screen measuring 36-feet-high by 126-feet-wide, wider than a Boeing 737’s wingspan, according to OCVibe. Another 32.5-foot-high by 126-foot-wide marquee will span the Katella and Cerritos parking garages.

“The Urban Park’s integrated display technology allows us to support everything from large fan gatherings to curated outdoor entertainment and seasonal markets, all within a highly visible and connected environment,” Vice President of Special Events Katie Pederson said in a statement.

The screens are designed to “guide and inform” visitors by delivering real-time updates, wayfinding and event information about the district’s businesses and programming. The display system will be ready when the first phase of OCVibe opens in early 2027.
