FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno Yosemite International Airport and SSP America hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday to celebrate the opening of two new dining concepts: Mad Duck Craft Brewing Co. and Ike’s Love & Sandwiches.

Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant was also scheduled to open, but was delayed by rain damage during construction.

The addition of these restaurants brings local, authentic flavor and greater variety to travelers.

Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer was joined by Fresno City Councilman Tyler Maxwell, SSP America Regional Vice President of Operations Ed Hartless, and Interim Director of Aviation Francisco Partida.

Fresno Yosemite International Airport is one of the largest drivers for economic activity in the Central San Joaquin Valley.

Domestic and international carriers serving the airport offer Valley travelers daily nonstop flights to Chicago (Seasonal), Dallas/Fort Worth, Dallas Love Field (Seasonal), Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Guadalajara, León, and Morelia in Mexico.
