Big West Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week

UC Irvine junior attacker Lauren Hett poured in four goals and added two assists to earn Big West Offensive Player of the Week honors, presented by Kap 7 International, after leading the Anteaters to their first conference win of the season. This is the fourth weekly distinction of the junior’s career (Feb. 19, March 12, 2025 | April 3, 2024).
Hett shot an impressive .800 from the field in a statement 14-10 victory over No. 14 UC San Diego, directly contributing to nearly half of UC Irvine’s scoring output.
The junior attacker registered the eighth hat trick of the season in the matchup.
Hett now leads the squad with 38 goals and 20 assists through 14 games, setting the tone in conference play.
