The Pollak Library Makerspace invites students to “Unraveled: Censorship & Craft,” a March 3 workshop for crafting and conversation. The event will take place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Makerspace Creative Commons, located on the north side of the Pollak Library’s second floor.
Participants will learn basic sewing and embroidery skills while they create patches, quilt squares, banners and friendship bracelets. The workshop will also explore craftivism and how crafting connects to themes like free speech, censorship and intellectual freedom. No experience is needed, and all materials will be provided.
