FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A Fresno man has been arrested, accused of shooting another man in southeast Fresno Tuesday afternoon.

Around 5:30 p.m., deputies responded to reports of a shooting near 11th Street and Church Avenue.

When they arrived, a 25-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he is expected to make a full recovery.

Investigators identified 38-year-old Antonio Espinoza as the possible shooter based on information gathered at the scene.

Preliminary reports indicate the shooting was an isolated incident. Investigators say Espinoza and the victim, who live in the same area, know each other and were involved in a conflict that escalated to the shooting.

Espinoza was arrested Tuesday night and booked into the Fresno County Jail on a charge of attempted murder. His bail is set at $500,000.
