Public Storage announced it is leaving California and moving its corporate headquarters from Glendale to Frisco, Texas.

Public Storage operates thousands of self-storage units across the country.

The company says the move to the Dallas-Fort Worth area is part of a broader restructuring, noting that it will “maintain a long-term presence in Glendale.” It comes as the company also announced a leadership transition, naming multiple new senior leadership officers, including a new CEO.

This is the latest in a series of corporate relocations from California to Texas, including SpaceX, Tesla and Chevron.
