Deputies have arrested 38 year old Antonio Espinoza of Fresno.
He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on a charge of attempted murder. Â His bail is set at $500,000.
Around 5:30 pm on Tuesday, February 24th, deputies responded to a report of a person being shot on the 2400 block of S. 11th Street in Fresno (Calwa). Â Deputies arrived and found a 25 year old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Â He was transported to the hospital for treatment and was determined to have non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies developed information at the crime scene and identified Antonio Espinoza as the suspect. Â The preliminary information shows this was an isolated incident. Â Espinoza lives in the same area as the victim. Â The two men, who know each other, were involved in some sort of conflict and it resulted in Espinoza shooting the 25 year old. Â Deputies contacted Espinoza Tuesday night and arrested him.
