OAKLAND, Ill. (WCIA) — Madison Warner and Rachel Warman joined WCIA 3’s Taylor Mitchell in the studio to talk about the Oakland FFA’s petting zoo.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday and attendees can expect a range of animals — everything from dogs and ducks to pigs and ponies. The FFA members will also offer two classroom activities for the elementary school students — making a first aid kit and learning abut the lifecycle of a butterfly.

The event will be held at Oakland High School. While it is free to attend, the group will be accepting donations. Proceeds will go towards future FFA weeks and the group’s banquet.
