Gorillaz House of Kong Exhibition – TP > Following its acclaimed London debut, Gorillaz bring House of Kong to Downtown L.A. for a limited four-week immersive run at Rolling Greens DTLA, beginning this Thursday. The exhibition invites fans inside the band’s animated universe, tracing the misadventures, music, and virtual innovation of Murdoc, 2D, Russel, and Noodle. You can also shop merch from the band’s discography and one-of-a-kind collectibles at a gift shop that serves as the gateway into the larger House of Kong experience. What A Wonderful World: An Audiovisual Poem – FA > The Julia Stoschek Foundation has taken over all six floors of the Variety Arts Theater with What A Wonderful World: An Audiovisual Poem, marking the first U.S. presentation of the renowned collection. The immersive exhibition blurs the boundaries between art and cinema, pairing major video works by artists like Marina Abramović, Doug Aitken, Paul McCarthy, and Wolfgang Tillmans with silent and classic films by pioneers including Alice Guy-Blaché, Georges Méliès, Luis Buñuel, and Walt Disney, turning viewers into active participants in a sensory journey. The Other Art Fair -> This Thursday to Sunday the Other Art Fair pops up at a new home, bringing their their four-day event to 3Labs in Culver City. Guests can expect a curated selection of over 140 independent artists, offering the chance to scout art for sale while enjoying live DJ sets, activations, installations, and a cash bar. Advance tickets start at $30 for opening night, or $20 for any of the other nights. More info here.

Felix Art Fair – M > This Wednesday to Sunday, the eighth installment of Felix Art Fair takes over The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with an international roster of 60+ galleries occupying both indoor and outdoor spaces of the iconic hotel. Tickets run $75 per day, or a run of the show pass cost $100. More info here.

Frieze Los Angeles – > Beginning this Thursday, Frieze Los Angeles returns for its 2026 edition at the Santa Monica Airport. The four-day presentation of art features some of the most renowned galleries in the world, and also includes special activations and pop-ups from a few of L.A.’s most popular restaurants. Single day general admission tickets start at $106.50. The event runs through Sunday, March 1. More info here.

Robot Karaoke -> This Friday, experience “karaoke on impossible mode” at The Elysian Theater’s Skunk Room with another edition of Robot Karaoke. Using “The Weird Algorithm,” the show replaces standard lyrics with bizarre texts—like Yelp reviews of psychics or Craigslist ads—matched syllable-for-syllable to the original tune. Audience volunteers and local comedians attempt to sing these never-before-heard mashups live on the spot. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door, but be warned. Startup Art Fair Los Angeles -> The Startup Art Fair Los Angeles returns this Friday to Sunday, transforming the guest rooms of The Kinney Venice Beach into intimate, artist-led exhibition spaces. Now in its eleventh year, the fair spotlights a refreshing model that puts artists at the center of both the conversation and the commerce, inviting collectors, curators, and the public into direct dialogue with today’s leading contemporary voices. Bergamot Station Open House – M FA > Experience a marathon day of art at the Bergamot Station Arts Center as more than 20 galleries host special programming on Saturday to coincide with Frieze LA. The free open house features a packed schedule of artist talks and curator walkthroughs, starting with a 6th Street group discussion at Craig Krull Gallery at 11 a.m. Families can head to The Green Bus ARTSPACE from noon to 3 p.m. for hands-on workshops, while the evening shifts toward receptions at William Turner Gallery and bG Gallery. The night concludes with a performance of Neil LaBute’s adaptation of Uncle Vanya at City Garage. Programming runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. More info here.

Spooky Stories After Dark – M > Join the The Wolves for a live, scary storytelling competition hosted by Spooky Foodie and Your Cousin Trev this Saturday evening. Brave attendees can sign up in person between 7 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. to tell a three-minute spine-chiller for a chance to win a handmade trophy. This community fundraiser features a 50-mile bike ride, a 20-mile fun ride, and the “PAW’er” dog walk on Saturday, followed by 5K/10K runs and a Kiddie Run on Sunday. Rejuvenate and Unwind: Sound Bath Sunday – FA > Prepare for the week ahead with a sunset sound meditation hosted by Khalifa – SoundsofLove at Barnsdall Art Park this Sunday. Located on the grassy area near the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, this immersive outdoor session uses the soothing melodies of sound bowls and nature to help participants de-stress and reconnect.
