LONG BEACH, CA —Marathon Burger, the fast food chain founded by late rapper Nipsey Hussle, is opening its first Long Beach location on Sunday.

A grand opening is planned for noon at the restaurant, located at 245 Pine Ave., #110 in downtown Long Beach.

The location is being opened in partnership with the family of Calvin Broadus, the Long Beach rapper better known to the world as Snoop Dogg. The chain, which specializes in burgers, fries, wings and milkshakes, currently has locations in Canoga Park, West Hollywood and Venice.

Hussle, a Los Angeles native, was murdered in March 2019 in the parking lot of his L.A. store, Marathon Clothing. In 2023, his killer was sentenced to 60 years in prison.
